Hallway in a modern style
Fortunately, the structure of the premises suited the owners and the layout of the rooms did not change. All trajectories of movement conveniently converge in the hallway-hall and form a single communication intersection. It was only between the kitchen and the living room that a plasterboard partition had to be erected to separate the rooms from each other.
Living room in a modern style
Like any modern design, contemporary is eclectic in nature – it is always a mix of different trends and trends, and there are especially many of them in this project. From minimalism, we took upholstered furniture, coffee and dining tables, borrowed an armchair from the Scandinavian style, borrowed a kitchen from modern classics, borrowed a decorative partition and golden light from Art Deco, and in the end, refined the overall picture with a drop of classics in the form of moldings on the walls. Attributes of different styles created fresh interesting combinations within one interior.
This extraordinary variety was generously flavored with modern trends in interior fashion. Here there are plotless minimalistic paintings with abstractions, furniture on legs, there is even volumetric decor on the facade of the TV stand and airy pampas grass on the dining table.
The color palette is refreshing, light and light, with wood textures. Light gray, white and beige tones dominate. They are complemented by pastel colors – mint and pink. Noble black and gold accents set off the base. The client wanted more gloss in the interior, hence so many gold details – lampshades, accessories, dishes.
Gold appeared even on the legs of soft dining chairs, created in the style of the “Beetle” model, whose creators were looking for inspiration in the world of insects and made all the structural elements of their creation look like golden scarab beetles – thin graceful legs and curved like a shell, back and seat.
Bathroom and toilets design
Contemporary loves not only wood, but also stone, especially marble. For the bathroom and toilets, it seemed to have been created on purpose, so we easily decided on their decoration. We just played a little with the mixture of glossy and matte surfaces and included color accents in the interior of each room. True, at the insistence of the customer, it is very dosed – as a countertop and a cabinet under the sink.
