Dark and light walls in the interior: modern design of the euro-apartment 47 sq m
Dark walls continue to be at the top of the list of interior trends, but light ones do not give up their positions either. What if you combine dark and light walls in one project? Until you try, you won’t know. The project of this 46.7 m2 euro-duplex clearly demonstrates that the result of such a mixture can be a pleasant surprise. This is the residential complex “Atlant” in the city of Odintsovo, Moscow region. To decorate their apartment, customers Ekaterina and Anton chose both dark and light colors, but they wished to get away from contrasts with the help of soft transitions between colors.
Kitchen-living room in modern style
The color design of the kitchen-living room is based on a combination of slate gray and deep cherry shades. The facades of the kitchen set and furniture are made in this range. The opposite wall has been painted in a warm cream shade. A soft transition from dark to light is the flooring with chocolate bar and wood textures. Thus, the space is equally divided into dark and light zones.
Bedroom design with laminate on the wall
To decorate the walls in the bedroom, the customers chose a very original ensemble: lay out the wall at the head of the bed with a laminate, making it accent, build a wardrobe with mirrored facades into the wall opposite the window, and decorate the remaining two walls in a classic way. Laminate as a wall covering is a pretty budget design option. You can choose an inexpensive material: for wall decoration, it makes no sense to spend money on high-class strength sheets.
Loggia design with a brick wall
The owners decided to insulate the loggia, while preserving the facade brickwork. Thanks to the furnishings, the extra room has turned into a comfortable chill-out area where you can drink coffee, read and even work. For this, there is a small two-seater sofa, an easy chair, a coffee table and a hidden storage system with books.
Design of a small bathroom with a corner bath
The bathroom in the apartment is small, only 4.7 square meters. Every centimeter was counted. At the same time, the customers insisted on installing the bath. A corner bathtub, which is equipped in such a way that it also combines the functions of a shower, helped to solve the problem. For the decoration of the walls, the customers chose black porcelain stoneware with porcelain stoneware in the color of rusty metal.
In general, the layout met the needs of the customers. But for better use of space, Mossebo designers proposed to increase the kitchen area by moving the partition towards the bedroom, and provided spacious storage systems and organized an extra bathroom. Now the layout of each of the rooms corresponds to the functional meaning of the required zones.
